Before yesterday I never really thought about how perfectly a snail can fit inside a one-year-old's mouth. It's the perfect size for sucking on but not choking on, as James demonstrated for me.

Ew!!! Man, what is it about boys?! Jane would put things in her mouth, but Denny EATS things that Jane would never have eaten. Like this week, when Denny ate as much oh my brand new deoderant that he could get to without turning the knob. YUCK!!!!!!! Ew Yuck. You would think he would stop eating after the first taste. Raising boys is DIFFERENT.:)
Sick! Did he actually swallow it? Or just suck on it for a little thrill? And did you remove it from his mouth? Oh man. I can just see his big grin.
We were outside and I was weeding. Jenny caught my attention and told me James had eaten a snail. So I went over and he had his cheeks puffed out and his lips pursed. I stuck my fingers in his mouth and out popped a snail. Nice hard shell. Oozing bubbling green slimy thing inside. I freaked out and tossed it to the side, and boy was he mad! He wanted his pacifier back.
That is SO sick! And one thing I haven't encountered yet...
